It’s A Beautiful Thing is a coffee shop located in the centre of our pretty Devon town. We provide artisan coffee, fresh cakes and light bites, as well as a selection of carefully chosen local produce all within a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Our Story
We were inspired to open Its a Beautiful Thing because of the lack of employment opportunities for young people with additional needs. Tom, our son and many of his cohort are looking at a future with limited, indeed if any future employment and yet have so much to contribute, are willing to learn and can be hugely valuable to a workplace if only given a chance.
At It’s a BT we aim to give that chance by offering apprenticeships, internships and supported employment, promoting learning, confidence, independence, friendship, and a sense of purpose and belonging.
Supplying great coffee and cakes seems like a good place to start and we hope you think so too.
